This past week, I've eaten an unseemly number of Simply 7's crunchy, chickpea flour-based Hummus Chips. They break on your teeth like a hefty corn chip (think Fritos), while their pasta-shell shape and robust spicing make dip superfluous (think Bugles). There's also a line of lentil-based chips that are light, puffy, and dangerously noshable — the ones seasoned simply with sea salt have a broad, lentil-y flavor that's extremely addictive.
